NEW PUPPY HEALTH GUARANTEE

Your puppy has "temporary" vaccinations against: Parvo, Parainfluenza, Adenovirus, Distemper, and Coronavirus and have been wormed at least twice.  All dogs are accompanied by an accurate and up-to-date medical history. Dogs are checked by our veterinarian prior to pick up and are guaranteed to be in good health at this time. Because we trust our vet’s exam, we give you until the date that the puppies next set of shots are due to have the puppy examined UNLESS you suspect there is a problem. Buyer has until the date provided to have the puppy examined by a licensed vet. If the vet finds any life-threatening illness, and our guidelines are followed, the buyer may exchange the puppy for one of equal value, or be given a full refund of the purchase price ONLY. If a puppy is not available at that time, the seller will issue a full refund of the purchase price ONLY. We have up to 90 days from the time the puppy is returned to refund the purchase price.  We MUST be contacted within 24 hours of a problem being diagnosed or even suspected and a vet certificate must be presented attesting to the problem. All vet fees incurred are buyer’s responsibility. All puppies whose age at the date of sale precludes completion of the scheduled series of inoculations, it is required for the buyer to complete the scheduled series of inoculations on time by a licensed vet in order to protect the puppy, and for the genetic guarantee to remain valid. A timetable for the inoculations will be supplied on the medical history of the puppy.  Failure to have your new pup examined by a licensed vet within the timetable provided will void this entire guarantee. Because we are so cautious with our puppies and adults and do not allow them to be exposed to unhealthy places, should your puppy contract the parvo virus once it leaves our home, it would be from contact with an unhealthy place after leaving. Do NOT take that chance until all 4 sets of shots are given. It is not worth the risk! You will have plenty of time to show off your little one once their shots are completed.

ONE-YEAR GUARANTEE AGAINST GENETIC DEFECTS

If your dog, during the first year of age is found to have a serious life threatening genetic defect, notify us immediately and return him to us (at buyer’s expense) within 24 hours (unless we have agreed on other arrangement’s)  with: the registration papers, vet records showing where dog has had regular vet care and inoculations, along with a written explanation from a licensed vet stating defect, and he/she will be replaced at no charge as soon as another pup of the same color and gender is available. Any vet bills incurred to diagnose or repair a problem will be the responsibility of the buyer.  Failure to notify us within 24 hours of a life threatening genetic defect being suspected or found will void this entire guarantee.

This guarantee is valid only to the original owner and void if resold or given away.

All dogs sold are sold as “pet quality” and are NOT sold for showing or BREEDING.

ALL of our schnauzer adults are AKC registered. However, puppies are sold with LIMITED RIGHTS, (to be spayed or neutered by 9 months old). Breeding of a pup sold as Limited, by accident or on purpose, at any age, buyer would owe breeder $2000 for breach of contract due immediately upon that breeding and pay all legal fees that seller may accrue pursuing payment of such breach.

We, Scott & Tammy Scruggs, STRONGLY advise against taking your new puppy to ANY pet store or public park or ANY area where other animals frequent until AFTER your puppy has had all 4 sets of puppy inoculations that include the Parvo vaccine!
